Rev. Benjamin McKelahan

Benjamin McKelahan is an interactive artist, fairy tale writer, and pastor at Parables and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY–a neighborhood which, like him, is trying to reconcile its Anglo and Latino identity.  Since he stumbled upon Lutheranism and Theatre of the Oppressed, Ben has been fascinated with how to use art and games to create communities that embody God’s unconditional love. A west coast native, Ben graduated from Reed College in Portland, OR and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, CA.
